Skill Up Summit is a national event designed to bring together youth from Canada in celebration of the students’ work inspired by the message 3% Project delivered to over 400 schools.
At Skill Up, school teams throughout Canada will be invited to showcase their local action projects in Toronto. Students will have the opportunity to create meaningful connections with like-minded youth from rural and urban communities across Canada.
Using the skills students learned during 3% Project’s mentorship program and Skill Up workshops, student teams will be asked to develop an impactful, scalable, and replicable project to pitch to a panel of judges for a chance to win a $1000 entrance scholarship to York University.
At Skill Up Summit, there will be:
- Peer-to-peer learning
- Skills development workshops
- Youth action showcases
- Opportunities to network with industry representatives and investors
- A chance to explore Toronto
